Sydney Showground dusts off its boots to host brand-new country music event - Ridin’ Hearts Festival
Known for bringing the country to the city for its annual Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Showground will dust off the hat and boots early this year as it welcomes Ridin' Hearts Festival to the iconic venue on Saturday, 4 November.
Encouraging Sydneysiders to saddle up for the experience of a lifetime, the brand-new festival presented by Frontier Touring, will bring the vibrant spirit of country music to the city like never before, for this unique one-day-only event.
Complete with two stages, experiential bars, market stalls, mouth-watering food to satisfy every craving, plus some of the best local and international artists around, Ridin' Hearts is raising a glass to all things country in the home of Australia’s largest agricultural event.
"Ridin' Hearts Festival is a perfect fit for us here at Sydney Showground. We are purpose-built to bring the country to the city each year, and what better way to honour that than by filling the venue with some of the best country artists around," said Sydney Showground General Manager Darryl Jeffrey.
Heading up the festival is US country star Bailey Zimmerman, who will be sharing the stage with Danielle Bradbery, Sam Barber, Matt Schuster, Alana Springsteen, Sara Berki, Zac & George and Country DJ duo VAVO.
A celebration that caters to both devoted country music enthusiasts and curious newcomers, Ridin' Hearts Festival will showcase the undeniable allure of the genre's diverse sound. In Australia, country music has experienced an unprecedented surge in popularity, captivating a wide range of listeners. Recent statistics reveal Australia as the third biggest country music market in the world, with the genre attracting millions of new listeners daily.
"This festival is a first of its kind, a unique opportunity to witness the domination of country music in Australia," said Chugg Entertainment Chairman, Michael Chugg. "We're thrilled to bring together a mix of established country artists and emerging talents, creating an unforgettable day of music, fun and authentic country experiences."
Presented by the team behind CMC Rocks, this one-day festival will showcase an impressive lineup of country music stars, igniting the hearts of music enthusiasts across the country.
